I have been living in this Black Suede Biker Jacket from Urban Outfitters, If you have me on Instagram, snapchat, youtube, twitter etc you’ll have seen it loads and know that I just can’t get enough of it. I was quite pleasantly surprised to see it on the UO mens section, It’s one of their Urban Renewal pieces which means that it has been made from an older vintage piece which is a great way to recycle clothes and materials – kudos to UO. Now the actual biker that I have was sold out but recently they got some more mediums in stock, I wear a large just because I like it oversized. I did however see some of the same or similar cut or style of jackets over on ASOS’s reclaimed vintage section in different colours, the rust one is beautiful and I’ve definitely got my eye on it. The Suede Biker is a very heavy piece of clothing, I just love the silhouette and the texture, I’ve styled it here in a more ‘summer’ or ‘festival’ kind of outfit with another UO piece, the khaki flannel shirt tied around my waist to add in a bit of colour. The black skinny jeans that I always wear from ASOS with my beloved Allsaints Creepers (which are also suede lol). The biker is definitely an all rounder in terms of seasons and I can see myself wearing it in summer and in winter, it might get a bit too hot at a festival in summer but when the sun goes down it’s definitely going to be my best friend, especially If i’m wearing only a T-shirt or a short sleeved shirt.
