Hey guys, welcome back! Todays post is to celebrate the launch of Kit Neale x Dune London. I’ve styled 2 outfits with some pieces from the new collection. For the first look I took the Tetra sneaker with the Goby Backpack and paired it with cropped denim and a graphic tee. Kits collaboration is inspired by the cultural melting pot of London and the graphics are inspired by Seafood Packaging from Oriental Supermarkets.
Kit says “No matter whether you’re in a classic British Fish and Chip shop, a supermarket in China Town,
Billingsgate Fish Market, or the Afro-Caribbean food section of a convenience store – the graphics on
seafood products are strangely often highly graphic, colourful, illustrated designs.
I took these graphics and created a print and range that was reflective of some kind of uniform that you
might find in a kaleidoscopic fishmongers or modish Sushi bar. Think if Kit Neale had a fishmongers or
Sushi restaurant chain… what would the workers wear?”
For the second look I styled the Weaver boot in black with the Sturgeon bag in Navy and teamed it with a track jacket zip up and a leather biker over the top. The whole collection fuses a minimal aesthetic with the fun elements of the oriental packaging. I’d love to hear your thoughts on the collection in the comments below and you can shop the pieces here.
