I’ve styled this Longline Flannel Shirt with a longline Tee, ripped skinny jeans, a bomber jacket and yeezy boost sneakers. Although I love longline shirts, I must admit they’re not the easiest thing to style. You don’t want to drown in a longline shirt and you also want to be able to layer it up for the cold weather. However layering can be tricky when items are so long, longline shirts are also not very thick so you can’t really wear them as a jacket.

Since I still wanted to show off the longline shirt I paired it with my vintage Ma-1 Bomber jacket, I feel like when the shirt pokes out underneath it actually gives a ‘kilt’ like effect and I really like it. I think the best thing to do is to try different pieces over the top of your longline shirt to see which fits best. I know i tried on about 5 different jackets before I left the house as all my other options didn’t quite feel right. I feel really comfortable in this longline shirt though mainly because the fabric is so soft and it’s so long.

I often wear the longline shirt by itself when going out for drinks or an event because it adds that touch of sophistication without feeling bulky. Another way  you can wear a longline shirt is by tying it around your waist, although it will be quite long it again gives that skirt vibe. I love playing with proportions and different lengths in an outfit, as long as you feel comfortable that’s all that matters.

Until next time!
