Hey everyone – how’s it going? Hope you’re having a great day, I’ve introduced something new to the blog today and that is a ‘shop the post’ widget (which will always feature just below the text from now on). I always link to the items I’m wearing in the text above but I thought a scrolling set of images that you can shop would be a little bit more convenient. Let me know what you think!

Souvenir Jackets are popping up everywhere recently from ASOS to Stussy, I recently made a YouTube video on how to Style them (here) and I love mine so much that I wanted to talk about it over here on gallucks.com too. Souvenir or Sukajan Jackets are a blend of American and Japanese history, contrasting silk panels with detailed embroidery they’re definitely a statement piece. You don’t want to overshadow the trophy that is your Souvenir Jacket so try to keep everything else minimal (don’t I always? haha) I’m wearing mine with Plain Tees/Hoodies and ripped skinny jeans with my pirate black yeezys. I think this is one of the comfiest outfits I’ve worn recently.

The beauty of the Souvenir is that it can be dressed up or down, It’s really versatile in the way that you can wear it. It can be worn for meeting up with friends in town, going shopping, I wore mine to a gig last week (two gigs actually?! Jamie xx and Years and Years) It can also be worn on nights out. I feel like guys don’t have much choice when going out for drinks, girls have dresses/jewellery/make up but guys pretty much just throw on a t-shirt or a shirt and that’s about it. The Souvenir Jacket can shake up your going out outfit with a bit of colour and detail that let us guys feel a bit more fancy? If you know what I mean haha.

As Always thank you for stopping by and if you do get inspired to shop by my outfits then you can show your support by purchasing through the links on my blog as I earn a small commission from each sale. It would be greatly appreciated and thank you to all the lads who do so already – it means a lot!
